Kairos Dance Convention – Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a ticket and attending Kairos Dance Convention, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Refund Policy
All ticket sales are final.
Refunds or partial refunds will only be considered in the case of a serious injury occurring prior to the convention that prevents the dancer from participating.
To be eligible for a refund:

The Kairos Team must be notified prior to the first day of the convention.

Medical documentation (such as a doctor’s certificate) must be provided.
No refunds will be issued once the convention has commenced, under any circumstances.
2. Media Release
By attending Kairos Dance Convention, participants grant permission for Kairos Dance Convention and its partners to use photographs and video recordings of attendees for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes across digital and print platforms.
3. Liability
Kairos Dance Convention and the event venue are not liable for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property that may occur during the event.
Participation in all activities is voluntary, and attendees may choose not to participate in any class or activity.
If there are any concerns regarding a dancer’s physical ability to participate, participants should consult with a medical professional prior to attending the convention.
4. Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward faculty, staff, venue personnel, and fellow dancers.
Kairos Dance Convention reserves the right to remove any participant from the event if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
5. Level Placement
Kairos Dance Convention reserves the right to move dancers between levels if necessary to ensure the best learning environment and maintain the safety and integrity of the classes.
6. Class Participation & Safety
All dancers must follow the instructions of faculty and Kairos staff at all times to maintain a safe learning environment.
Kairos Dance Convention reserves the right to restrict participation in any activity if it is deemed unsafe for a dancer to continue.
7. Schedule & Faculty Changes
All faculty members are scheduled to teach as advertised. However, Kairos Dance Convention reserves the right to adjust the schedule or replace faculty members if circumstances require.
Any replacement instructor will be an equally qualified professional.
8. Late Arrivals & Missed Classes
Kairos Dance Convention is not responsible for missed classes due to late arrival, scheduling conflicts, or personal circumstances.
Late arrivals may be asked to wait until an appropriate moment to enter the studio.
9. Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another dancer prior to the start of the convention.
Kairos Dance Convention must be notified of the transfer in advance to ensure accurate registration and event records.
The new dancer’s details must be registered with the Kairos Dance Convention team and confirmed at event registration.
Ticket transfers will not be permitted once the convention has commenced.
10. Medical Emergency Authorisation
In the event of a medical emergency, participants authorise Kairos Dance Convention staff to seek appropriate medical treatment on their behalf if necessary.
11. Release of Liability
By attending Kairos Dance Convention, participants release and discharge Kairos Dance Convention, its staff, partners, and the event venue from any liability, claims, or causes of action arising from participation in the event.
12. Health & Illness
Participants who are unwell or displaying symptoms of illness may be asked not to participate in classes in order to protect the health and safety of other attendees.
Kairos Dance Convention reserves the right to restrict participation if necessary.
13. Personal Property
Kairos Dance Convention is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Attendees are responsible for keeping their personal items secure at all times.
14. Photography & Filming
Photography or filming of classes by attendees may be restricted to maintain a focused learning environment and protect the privacy of dancers and faculty.
Any authorised media will be captured by the Kairos Dance Convention team.
15. Event Changes
Kairos Dance Convention reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, faculty, venue, or programming if required due to unforeseen circumstances.
16. Supervision
Parents or guardians are always responsible for the supervision and welfare of their child during Kairos Dance Convention, including when they are not participating in scheduled classes.
